Create Your Own Website With Webador

Hello Families!

We are off to a great start with this school week...our Kinders are learning those words and letters/letter sounds. Thank you for all the hard work you all are putting in with your children. What an amazing week last week! Thank you all for your participation in walk to school!

Few things to remember:

Field Trip reminders:

_If you signed your Kinder up to bring lunch from home, please do not forget it bc we only have school lunches for students that filled that option out on the permission slip

-Kinders are still dropped off at the school the morning of the trip

-Only APPROVED chaperones are allowed on the trip

-We are leaving the school at 9:30am, after this time if your child is absent, they will miss the filed trip.

-Please dress your Kinder in comfortable clothing with closed toe shoes and they are permitted to bring their water bottle. It is supposed to be cold, so you may want your Kinder to wear a jacket.

-Provide a change of shirt for your Kinder is case of an accident

-Kinders can bring their water bottles, their items will be kept with our class belongings

-If you want to check out your child at the end of the field trip, you may do that. We just need you to sign out with us at the farm and you all will be free to go.

-Personal space: Some of our friends are finding it more difficult navigating personal space as they really begin to learn and know each other. Please have a conversation with your Kinder about keeping hands, feet, and mouths to themselves.

Birthdays

We know how important it is to celebrate your child's special day. If you want to celebrate their special day at school , here are a few reminders. Please remember to bring in peanut free items. Balloons, candles, and stuffed animals are not allowed. We know everyone wants to invite their friends to their personal birthday party but please send in invitation to everyone. Parents are not allowed in the classroom during birthday celebrations, and we are not allowed to bring your child's sibling down from their classroom.

Homework

We have changed how homework is being done. Please complete 5 boxes and return the form on Friday so we can check those boxes off. We will send that same page back home for you to complete 5 more boxes. We will do this until the end of the month.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher conferences will take place from September 3rd to September 13th, excluding Wednesdays. You can find the sign-up link on the parent resource page.

Please bring in an extra change of clothes just in case they have an accident.
